With the Advanced Sintering Process (ASP), you reduce the complete sintering process of conventional multilayer zirconia from “cold to cold” to just 120 minutes – reproducibly, economically, and without loss of quality.

Only 2 hours instead of 8 to 10 hours.

The system expansion, consisting of the ASP program for the NOVA furnaces and the NOVA capsule cooling unit, enables the maximization of result quality for multilayer zirconia in the absolute shortest time.

How ASP works

1. Start ASP program

The specially coordinated program controls the optimized sintering process.

2. Removal at 1,100 °C

The sintering tray is transferred into the NOVA capsule with special tongs.

3. Controlled cooling

The restorations cool homogeneously and gently outside the furnace.

4. Further processing after a total of approx. 120 minutes

The zirconia restoration is hand-warm and ready for the next processing step.

This refers to the period from placing the loaded sintering tray until the hand-warm, ready-to-process zirconia restoration.

ASP was developed to enable maximum material performance with significantly reduced processing time – reproducibly and without aesthetic compromises.

ASP was specifically developed for conventional multilayer zirconia. Initial materials have already been validated, and other manufacturers are currently in the validation phase.

Through targeted oxygen input, the protective oxide layer of the MoSi₂ heating elements regenerates automatically. This reduces maintenance and supports a longer lifespan of the components.

At the same time, energy consumption is significantly reduced compared to classic long-term processes.

The quality of zirconia is not only influenced by heating. Controlled cooling also has a decisive impact on translucency, color effect, and material tension. This is precisely where the NOVA capsule comes in. Because ASP additionally optimizes the crucial cooling phase: controlled, homogeneous, material-friendly, and outside the firing chamber. This reduces thermal stress and ensures the optical quality of the restorations.
