With the STATEMENT layering brushes, you can apply ceramic slurry with precision and even coverage. For a natural look, precise results, and maximum control with every layer.
The STATEMENT microlayering brushes allow for the finest shading and the highest precision. Ideal for detailed work where every detail makes a difference.
Your brush is more than just a tool. It is a handcrafted precision instrument designed to deliver the most aesthetically pleasing layering and microlayering results.
Each brush head is individually bound, shaped, and inspected. Our STATEMENT brush combines classic craftsmanship with state-of-the-art material technology: high-performance fibers inspired by bionics ensure maximum water absorption, an extremely stable tip, and consistent control.
Removing gum arabic: To ensure that the tip remains perfectly protected during transport and storage, each brush head is secured with gum arabic.
Before using it for the first time, simply remove this protective film:
→ Briefly dip the brush in fresh, lukewarm water.
→ Gently comb the bristles toward the tip with light pressure from your fingers.
→ Then rinse the brush thoroughly in a second glass of clean water.
→ Let it dry, then gently reshape the tip on a slightly damp sponge or between your fingers.
Important: Please never break off or comb out dry hair.
Clean your brush under running water immediately after use. For heavier residue, such as modeling fluids or paints,
a mild curd soap is perfectly sufficient. Consciously avoid using moisturizing artist soaps. These were developed for natural hair and are unnecessary for modern synthetic fibers. Harsh cleaners or solvents have no place on your brush. They damage the fibers, adhesive, and handle material, significantly shortening the brush’s lifespan.
A high-quality ceramic brush needs to be stored properly.
Please never:
– leave it standing in water for an extended period
– store it upside down in a glass of water
– close it while it’s still damp with the protective cap
Why? Without the protective cap, the tip can become permanently deformed. With the cap closed, moisture cannot escape. This can damage the adhesive and the grip material.
The ideal method is:
– dry flat on a lint-free cloth
– hang with the tip pointing down
– always avoid direct contact with water
Even modern high-performance fibers can lose some of their elasticity after heavy use. The good news is that you can restore the elasticity.
Here’s how it works: Dip only the bristle end of the brush into water heated to about 90°C for about 30 seconds. The water must not be boiling. Then gently brush the tip back into shape. Afterward, simply let it air dry.
Please never dry it with a hair dryer, radiator, or direct heat.
